Election Assistance Commission National Clearinghouse Award Recipient

At my current position, I write training materials to teach poll workers how to administer elections. I create new curriculum for each election based on changes in laws or points of confusion I notice while observing poll worker classes. My work earned a National Clearinghouse Award from the Election Assistance Commission in the category of Best Practices in Recruiting, Retaining, and Training Poll Workers.

I was a finalist for the Society of Professional Journalist's Mark of Excellence Award in General Column Writing for a series of humor articles I wrote in 2021 for The Miami Student. Humor writing gave me the opportunity to connect with readers in a unique and creative way and helped me develop a strong, clear voice that I use today. Writing humor articles provided me with confidence in my ability to communicate emotions with words.
Current Projects
Dismantling the Democratic Platform

In February 2024, I proposed an idea for Rising Republicans: to analyze portions of the 2020 Democratic platform, determine its purpose and success before the release of the 2024 platform, and lead seminars for Rising Republicans to show our members the incompetence of President Biden's administration. I created promotional materials for all sessions and led the first of three seminars. In my seminar, I focused on immigration and abortion.
Who Is....

For Rising Republicans, I created a series of graphics to encourage people to vote Republican in the upcoming November 2024 General Election. So far, I've made graphics on Sherrod Brown, Greg Landsman, and a local politician in Hamilton County, Connie Pillich. These graphics are posted on X, where they receive significant traction for local races, with the post on Greg Landsman viewed over 5,000 times.
Rising Republicans General Meetings

On the first Tuesday of every month, I lead the Rising Republicans of Greater Cincinnati meetings. Generally, we have a speaker and lively discussions about current events. Sometimes our speakers are candidates for upcoming races, legislators, or members of the community. Most recently, we invited a businessman to come and discuss the impact of taxes and tariffs on his American company.
